Our Graduate Programme
Alfa’s sought-after graduate programme gets you into the world of fintech with all the support you need to kick off an exciting career full of opportunity.
Is your future in software engineering or consulting?
The application window for positions on our 2025 graduate programme will open at the end of September 2024.
During the two-year graduate programme, you will gain experience in different parts of the business to help you build knowledge in both developing the product (Engineering) and delivering Alfa projects to our customers (Implementation). You’ll go through rotational placements in both of these business areas to cover lots of ground and get up to speed - and because variety is the spice of life!
Join our next Graduate intake. The application process is simple...
- Review - We review your CV and cover letter against a variety of criteria
- First round interview - To learn more about you and why you want to work at Alfa
- Second round interview - Online, with representatives from across the business
- Final round interview - Online, with two members of senior management
We’ll let you know as soon as possible whether we are making an offer, and work with you to understand which of our intakes would be most convenient for you to join. Then the fun really begins!
Applications for Alfa's 2025 Graduate Programme are now closed. Applications for 2026 will open in September 2025.
Some quick questions we can answer
You know what qualities and skills you bring to us, so make sure you tell us. We need to be sure you are actually interested in the different facets of the role, so researching and showing an enthusiasm for the industry and our projects is a must. Showing how you stand out from the crowd can be tough, so think about it before the interview about the achievements and experiences that make you the best person for the job.
Every new joiner at Alfa starts off by learning our product from the inside out; that means software development. After your initial training and depending on your career path, you will either join our central development team (Product Engineering) or you will move to an implementation role on one of our customer projects. Both options are accompanied by appropriate training and support along the way.
We are a pretty social bunch at Alfa. We have regular social events, quarterly Company Meetings and an annual Conference. We have a rooftop café that serves top-quality coffee and snacks, and is a great place to have casual meetings or catch up with colleagues and friends.
You will be based in our headquarters at Moorgate, London, unless you choose to carry out a role at one of our customer sites in Europe or work on an international assignment in the US, Australia or New Zealand. At Alfa we've adopted 'Smart Working' so where you work from each day, whether from home or the office, will be discussed with you and your team to ensure your daily locations work for everyone.
